Mark H. Ballard, PHD
President, Northeastern Baptist College
“It is my joy to commend Brother Jay Witham to minister in your church! The Lord has blessed Brother Jay with a fruitful ministry in the Northeast for many years. His music ministry is a personal blessing to myself and my family. We love to have solid Christian Music playing in our home and it is a joy to have Brother Jay’s CDs as part of the music which fills our home daily. While I enjoy all of his music, I particularly enjoy his signature song, “Just a Cowboy and His Guitar.” It reminds me so much of my western heritage. Though the Lord led my wife and I to serve him in the Northeast over the last 26 years, my western heritage is never far from the surface of my heart and mind.
In addition to his wonderful music, Brother Jay has extensive preaching and pastoral experience. In fact, just before I learned about his retirement and moving to Wyoming, I was about to ask Jay for permission to recommend him to serve as pastor of the church where I currently serve as an interim pastor. Therefore, I would commend Jay to fill your pulpit as well as bring music to your congregation.
I am confident Brother Jay Witham will be a blessing to you and your congregation. May the Lord bless you and continue to use you in His service.”
Dr. Terry W. Dorsett

Not only is he a great pastor, but his musical gifts are also amazing. He has a heart for helping others and can be counted on to be a solid faithful minister of the Word in all situations. I believe you will find him a blessing to your church and/or ministry organization in whatever capacity you ask him to serve.”
